Duties

• Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to food safety standards
• Supervise and train kitchen staff on food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety protocols
• Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste
• Oversee food production to maintain high quality and consistency across all menu items
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
• Monitor shift performance, manage labor costs, and ensure timely service during busy hours
• Enforce sanitation standards, conduct safety inspections, and uphold health regulations
• Assist with menu planning, recipe development, and catering or banquet food preparation when needed
• Support team development through interviewing, onboarding, training & development initiatives
• Handle customer service issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any concerns efficiently

Experience

• Proven management experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a focus on kitchen operations
• Extensive culinary experience with skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety management
• Demonstrated supervisory experience supervising hospitality teams or managing restaurant staff
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
• Experience in inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food cost management
• Background in fine dining or casual dining settings; banquet or catering experience is a plus
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster a positive team environment
• Knowledge of food industry standards including HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) protocols
• Previous hotel or hospitality management experience is advantageous but not required
