Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will manage reservations, greet guests, and ensure smooth seating arrangements. This role requires excellent customer service skills, organizational abilities, and familiarity with restaurant management systems to provide a seamless dining experience for all patrons.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive first impression.
• Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using reservation management systems.
• Utilize POS systems for check-ins, reservations, and other guest interactions.
• Coordinate with the restaurant staff to ensure timely seating and service.
• Answer phone inquiries professionally, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general restaurant details.
• Maintain organized records of reservations and guest preferences.
• Assist in managing restaurant table management systems to optimize seating flow.
• Handle basic math calculations accurately for billing or reservation purposes.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Host/Hostess or in a similar customer service role preferred.
• Proficiency with POS systems and restaurant reservation management software.
• Strong organizational skills to manage reservations and seating efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills for phone interactions and guest engagement.
• Basic math skills for handling billing or reservation calculations.
• Ability to remain professional and courteous in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
