Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Serve food, cocktails, wine, spirits, and other beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems, handle cash and credit card payments, and manage sales transactions seamlessly
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest relations
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively during busy shifts
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and food industry standards for fine dining experiences
- Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transaction processing
- Experience with food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and revenue
