What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Generalist position at IHI Turbo America?
IHI Turbo America (ITA) is looking for an HR Generalist to join their team! In this role you will administer Human Resource policies in compliance with all State and Federal laws, provide services to employees in all areas relating to personnel issues, and tackle administrative tasks within the various HR functions. Experience with UKG a plus!
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer all employment activity documenting and maintaining appropriate records and files
- Carry out all required tasks relating to employee recruitment/onboarding (posting job descriptions, diversifying recruitment strategies, conducting onboarding for new hires, which includes gathering all legally required new hire documents and relaying information about ITA and its benefits)
- Administer various human resources functions and procedures for all organization personnel; and maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual
- Compensation: Administer routine increases and performance reviews
- Administer benefits programs, including insurance, time away from work, health care, prescription, and dental
- Coordinate development of job descriptions, evaluation analysis, and grading of all positions
- Assure the facility is in compliance with all State and Federal Employment regulations
- Conduct and coordinate employee development education and employee involvement programs
- Assist in the coordination of employee activities and social programs
- Administer awards and recognize programs; counsel and coordinate responses to employee complaints
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:
Bachelors Degree in related field or relevant working experience
SHRM-CP or PHR preferred
Experience:
3-5 years in HR field (Manufacturing environment preferred)
Knowledge of employment law and regulations
Compensation and Benefits:
Actual base salaries will vary and may be above or below the recommended pay range based on factors such as but not limited to location, relevant experience and performance. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan to enhance their overall total compensation package when ITA and their business units achieve annual business and financial targets.
- $50,000 - $70,000 annually
