Duties

• Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and properly stocked throughout service
• Follow food safety sanitizing procedures meticulously to maintain a hygienic environment
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, plating, and portioning to ensure quality presentation
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, coffee machines, and warming trays
• Clean and sanitize work areas regularly to uphold cleanliness standards in line with health regulations
• Engage with guests warmly, answer questions about menu items, and provide attentive in-person customer service
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems when handling guest payments
• Handle weight-based food items with care during preparation and serving to ensure proper portioning
• Support catering or banquet setups as needed for special events or group breakfasts
• Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and report shortages promptly to management

Requirements

• Previous experience in fine dining, food service, or hospitality environments is highly desirable
• Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and sanitizing protocols is essential
• Experience operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, coffee machines, or warming trays is preferred
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including lifting heavy trays or boxes of supplies safely
• Basic math skills for processing transactions and measuring ingredients accurately
• Familiarity with wine knowledge or beverage service is a plus but not required
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
• Restaurant or culinary experience that demonstrates attention to detail and cleanliness standards
• Ability to work early mornings or flexible shifts in a fast-paced environment
• Previous banquet or catering experience is advantageous but not mandatory
