Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized House Manager to oversee the smooth operation of Regional Center Children's Group Home. This energetic professional will coordinate daily household activities, manage staff, and ensure an exceptional living environment. As the central point of contact for household operations, you will ensure that every detail is handled with precision and care, allowing residents to enjoy a seamless lifestyle.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of household management, including scheduling and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance staff
- Coordinate event planning and special occasions to ensure flawless execution from setup to cleanup
- Manage household supplies inventory and procurement, maintaining optimal stock levels for all essentials
- Supervise cleaning routines to uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization within the residence
- Provide childcare support as needed, including supervising children’s activities and managing schedules
- Act as a personal assistant by handling administrative tasks such as calendar management, appointments, and correspondence
- Oversee culinary operations by coordinating meal planning and ensuring quality food preparation in line with household preferences
- Maintain property management responsibilities, including overseeing repairs, renovations, and vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and implement security measures for the residence
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing household needs promptly and professionally
Experience
- Shall have 12 months experience per Title 17 providing direct supervision and special service to persons with Developmental Disabilities or (for a level 6 facility) shall complete 12 hours of additional continuing education training within the first 6 months of hire.
- Shall have high school level of education.
- Currently certified in CPR/First Aid and must be able to render emergency services when necessary.
- Shall be able to communicate effectively in written and oral form.
- Must have fingerprint clearance and criminal record statement per licensing requirements. Must have a health screening and tuberculosis test within 12 months prior to employment or 7 day(s) after employment.

- 1. Group Home staff- shall complete a minimum of 16 hours of annual training within first 12 months of hire for Title 22 requirements.
- 2.After the first 12 months of employment, they shall complete 20 hours of annual training for Title 22 requirements.
- Must have a valid California driver’s license and auto liability insurance for transporting residents.
- Must have completed and be currently certified in an approved Behavioral Management course such as MAB, CPI, or Pro Act.
- Shall complete the Direct Support Professional (DSP) training as required by Title 17.
- Shall have valid Water Safety Certification if supervising residents using a pool or other body of water from which rescue requires the rescuer’s ability to swim.
- Supervising experience in a Regional Center residential setting is highly desirable.
