Interim Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator (HRC) for a temp-to-perm opportunity supporting Pauline and Thomas Healthcare, a nonprofit organization that serves individuals with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities in a DDA community in Smyrna, TN.
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for recruiting and maintaining a pipeline of qualified Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to meet client needs while also supporting employee training and staffing coordination. This role plays a key part in ensuring the agency maintains a well-trained and properly scheduled direct care team.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $20 – $23 per hour
- Benefits - upon full hire by client after 90 days.
- Sick Pay Accrual
Schedule
- Monday – Thursday
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and participate in job fairs, build relationships with local colleges, and create recruitment opportunities.
- Conduct pre-screening interviews to ensure direct care applicants are a good fit for both the individuals supported and the organization.
- Facilitate new hire orientation.
- Assist with employee appreciation initiatives.
- Support the development of staff retention programs.
- Conduct hands-on, field-based training for staff.
- Monitor and support online learning and training compliance for staff.
- Assist with the implementation of Person-Centered Support Plans (PCSP).
- Maintain accurate job requisition records (vacant and non-vacant positions).
- Enter and maintain hourly employee schedules using company software.
- Coordinate and post staff schedules.
- Maintain attendance records and track employee time and attendance.
- Process time-off requests.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior knowledge of Human Resources concepts and terminology preferred, but not required.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible, organized, and able to work well under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and tactically while remaining results-oriented.
- High level of initiative, creativity, and objectivity.
- Proficiency with computers and standard office software required.
