What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Technician position at IHC, LLC?
Overall Responsibility:
Perform inspections and tests at various stages of the production process to ensure product quality. Manages internal NCs from production and provides disposition. Reports information to customer and gets feedback or direction. Customer first point of contact. Back up to Tech Lead. Backup or fill in for auditor / inspector.
Key Duties:
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of materials and products when needed.
- Conduct various tests to assess coating thickness, seal quality, color consistency, and other critical parameters.
- Identify and document non-conformances / disposition non-conformances.
- Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results.
- Communicate with production staff and other departments on quality-related issues.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
