Account Manager Job Description 

The Account Manager supports the IHC team and is client-facing to ensure projects and deliverables are being delivered. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest and passion for the Health, Wellness and Beauty space, but should be open and versatile as the agency has additional accounts in different categories. This role is a strong focus on social and requires someone who is equipped to manage multiple projects and work streams in Social, Influencers, Events and Partnerships, Podcast and others. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in project management and mentorship. You will serve as a go-to resource and contact for internal IHC employees as well as the client. 


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Independently lead multiple projects at once, understanding key deliverables that need to be executed and how to navigate potential challenges 
  • Acts as the dedicated resource and trusted partner for anything concerning their assigned accounts
  • Overseas services and work streams within social, influencer, events, partnerships, podcast, and PR - with an emphasis on social. 
  • Present/co-lead client meetings and status calls; engage with clients independently on tactical and strategic initiatives.
  • Develops and maintains strong, collaborative internal and external relationships. Becoming the clients’ go-to agency resource for an initiative.
  • Assist in driving, organizing, and executing client brand strategies and initiatives
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to junior teams 
  • Manage 1-2 employees 
  • Assist with social media content as needed; creating stories and writing captions; shoot short videos such as TikToks and Reels 
  • Edit photos and videos for cross-platform use
  • Support Associate AM with putting together the content shoot brief and making sure they’re supported
  • Attending occasional client shoots and helping with filming content 
  • Support senior staff across all client activities
  • Voice concerns about any accounts to the direct manager
  • Have a strong system in place for project management 
  • Lead monthly social strategy calls 
  • Present the senior team with new strategy ideas and different ways to update social accounts to make sure they don’t become stagnant


Qualifications 

  • 4 years of experience either at an agency setting or in the Health, Wellness, Beauty sectors
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, what’s evolving, and influencer landscape 
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal formats and confidence in presenting client pitches
  • Brings a positive, solutions-oriented attitude and a willingness to roll up their sleeves when needed
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple projects 
  • Ability to think strategically and start to plan and provide opportunities to clients. 
  • Ability to work across multiple different categories of clients outside of Health, Wellness, and Beauty as the agency evolves
  • Team player who can thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment 
  • Passionate about current cultural trends, social media, influencer marketing and storytelling 
  • Extremely meticulous attention to detail
  • Problem-solver; willing to roll up sleeves and troubleshoot how to fix challenges 
  • Strong creative eye with skills in Canva, Adobe (nice to have), Capcut, etc. 


Job Type: Paid 


Schedule:

  • IHC business hours 9am-5:30pm with additional work may be needed outside these hours. 
  • Weekend availability as needed for social media real-time posting or event support


Work Location: Hybrid (Office-based in Miami, FL)  or remote
