Senior Financial Analyst
Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is looking for a highly detailed Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. In this role, you will develop, interpret and implement complex financial and accounting concepts or techniques to support various responsibilities within the Finance department including the revenue and payer contract analyses and/or regional reporting. Provides financial business development, analytical services and recommendations that influence sound business decisions, enables delivery of business objectives and guides long-term business planning choices within assigned IHA sites, divisions or at the organizational level.

Senior Financial Analyst
Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is looking for a highly detailed Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. In this role, you will develop, interpret and implement complex financial and accounting concepts or techniques to support various responsibilities within the Finance department including the revenue and payer contract analyses and/or regional reporting. Provides financial business development, analytical services and recommendations that influence sound business decisions, enables delivery of business objectives and guides long-term business planning choices within assigned IHA sites, divisions or at the organizational level.
What You'll Do
- Prepares analysis on patient fee-for-service revenue and collection activity.
- Collaborates with Revenue Cycle and Finance Business Partners to understand key drivers of any significant reserve true-up.
- Provides finance and accounting expertise through effective financial planning, analysis, and measurement versus objectives.
- Prepares and monitors complex budgets and financial reports, performing complex project research and analysis.
- Utilizes technical expertise in data mining and extraction used a verity of software tools.
- Provides interpretation or financial policies, governmental legislation, accounting theory or customer financial regulations as needed.
- EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s Degree is preferred.
- CREDENTIALS/LICENSURE: CPA is preferred
- MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years’ financial analysis experience. Experience in a healthcare organization is preferred.
