As a PT Assistant At MercyOne Genesis, You Will
- Provide treatment to patients within Genesis Health System in a caring, professional and efficient manner - settings may include inpatient, out-patient, long term, home healthcare and /or outreach services
- Provide treatment independently according to State practice guidelines
- Be responsible for assisting the therapist in reassessment
- Complete necessary documentation in an accurate and timely manner
- Supervise clinical interns in an effective and professional manner with the guidance and assistance of the supervising physical therapist
- 20 hours a week
- Day shift
- 2 year college program or equivalent experience
- lowa Physical Therapist Assistant license - if licensed in another state, must obtain licensure within 1 year
- No experience required
- Basic Life Support within 6 months
