Position Purpose
The EEG Technician I is responsible for performing and monitoring a full range of neurodiagnostic studies, including routine, continuous long-term EEG (cEEG), Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) studies, inpatient/outpatient EEGs, and ambulatory EEG setups. The role requires strong technical skill, critical thinking, and the ability to recognize and respond to clinical and electrographic changes.

What You Will Do
- Participates in the administration of clinical tests to patients.
- Manages individual work flow to ensure the completion of all assignments.
- Demonstrates effective communication to facilitate the team concept.
- Assists with the administration of the EEG Lab.
- Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence.
- Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
- One to two years of EEG Tech experience is preferred.
- Current certification as an EEG Technician is preferred.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of EEG equipment and procedures
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Work requires the ability to communicate orally.
- Work requires ability to reach and grasp objects as well as manual dexterity.
- Work requires the ability to enter words and data into a computer or similar device.
