Key Responsibilities
- Culinary Excellence: Prepare and cook a variety of meals in accordance with planned menus, ensuring that each dish is not only nutritious but also a delight for the senses.
- Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the well-being of our residents and staff.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure smooth meal service and assist with special events and catering as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor food quality and presentation, making sure that it meets our high standards and resident expectations.
- Inventory Management: Assist in managing food inventory, placing orders, and ensuring freshness and quality of ingredients.
- Customer Service: Interact with residents and staff in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Experience: Previous experience in a culinary role, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting, is preferred.
- Certification: Possession of or willingness to obtain ServSafe certification is a plus.
- Creativity: A passion for cooking and creativity in designing appealing and nutritious meals.
- Team Player: Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
