What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operation Manager position at IH?

The Operation Manager has operational accountability for their assigned account; they must manage and train their team and inspect the building regularly to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
Shift(s):
Monday-Friday (5:00pm-1:30am)
Responsibilities:
- Ensure safety program implementation and compliance
- Complete all online management and leadership training and development
- Train and deploy a capable work force
- Conduct periodic quality audits within the facility and address any deficiencies immediately
- Ensure all contracted work and cleaning expectations are achieved consistently
- Be able to adjust to changing customer’s needs
- Must be willing to be hands on in all areas of the contract.
- Perform other assigned duties to support operation.
Requirements:
- 1 year of previous experience as a supervisor in a janitorial or housekeeping services role
- Knowledge about floor care work (stripping/waxing, carpet cleaning, pressure washing, etc., and floor machines)
- The ability to perform at the highest level with minimum supervision
- Ability to communicate with all levels
- Exceptional decision making, problem solving and people skills
