What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operation Manager position at IH?
IH Services, Inc., providing facility maintenance and building services to many of the most recognized brands in the manufacturing, distribution, power generation, hospitality, health care and automotive industries.
We are looking for a dedicated Operations Manager to oversee our daily business activities and drive operation excellence.
Shift(s):
7:00am - 4:00pm (Monday-Friday) Weekend Hours-Depends on business needs

Job Duties:
- Reports directly to the District Leader
- Trains new hires and assigns cleaning routes as needed.
- Oversee the daily janitorial operations across all buildings
- Oversee the Company’s Quality Program, training provided
- Plan work to meet contract needs and requirements.
- Monitor productivity. Reassign staff to priority areas as needed.
- Assign work orders as they are received.
- Produces reports for Site Manager on employees' attendance, benefits usage, vacation schedules.
- Update equipment inventory as needed
- In the absence of the Site Leader:
- Conducts safety meetings with the staff in accordance with the site-specific Safety Program and the Company’s safety procedures.
- Revises and recommends updates to the Job Safety and Health Analysis (JSHA).
Addresses employee's performance as needed
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as an Operation Manager or similar leadership role.
- Strong ability to lead and motivate.
- Exceptional critical thinking skills to identify inefficiencies and implement strategic solutions under pressure.
- High integrity required.
