Marketing Support Specialist

Are you organized, creative, and energized by bringing ideas to life? IHMVCU is looking for a Marketing Support Specialist to help coordinate marketing campaigns, community events, digital initiatives, and member engagement efforts that strengthen our brand and support our strategic goals.

This position is based primarily at our Headquarters in Moline, Illinois and is not a remote position.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate and manage marketing project requests and department workflows.
• Support marketing campaigns from planning through execution.
• Assist with community events, sponsorships, and member engagement activities.
• Help manage and grow our Member Advantage program.
• Create and update content for branch and headquarters digital displays.
• Track campaign performance and assist with reporting.
• Process invoices, support budget tracking, and maintain marketing inventories.
• Assist with branded merchandise and apparel fulfilment is running smoothly.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and community partners.
• Attend occasional evening and weekend community events.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in marketing, communications, event coordination, or a related field preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing concepts.
• Basic graphic design experience is a plus.
• Professional, collaborative, and service-oriented mindset.
• Valid driver's license required.

Physical Requirements

• Sitting: Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

• Lifting Demands: Up to 50 lbs.
• Visual acuity to do things such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal. The worker is required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment.
