We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lending Portfolio Analyst to join our team. For well-qualified candidates, a Senior Lending Portfolio Analyst title and corresponding pay range are available. Final compensation will be based on a combination of experience, skills, and internal pay equity.


This role is located at our beautiful headquarters located on River Drive in Moline, IL. This facility includes a comfortable office environment with an on-site gym facility.


Summary of Position:


The Lending Portfolio Analyst will focus on four key components of the Loan Portfolio: Indirect, Consumer, Mortgage and Commercial. This position will compile, analyze, monitor and maintain data regarding the Loan Portfolio. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, with a focus on developing and presenting clear, actionable reports to support effective decision-making. This role requires close collaboration across diverse teams and business units, as well as the ability to guide and mentor others in transforming data into meaningful insights that drive strategic action.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business units to analyze data and develop actionable insights and recommendations
  • Partner with departmental leaders on the performance of their departments by providing insights and trends
  • Analyze trends to propose underwriting strategy adjustments that align with organizational goals
  • Provide risk-based pricing recommendations that align with CU goals and strategic plan
  • Maintain an inquisitive nature in interpretation of data to make strategic decisions
  • Models pricing adjustments to predict the impact of pricing changes on organizational performance



Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Mathematics or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an Analyst role
  • At least 3 years experience using data tools such as Power BI or other data visualization tools
  • High proficiency in Excel to translate complex data into actionable insights through advanced functions and tools.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a track record of turning data into actionable strategies
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to senior leadership and stakeholders

Physical Requirements

Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
