Responsibilities
- Lead and support cross-functional teams on process improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma tools.
- Analyze production processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
- Analyze data to identify areas of waste, variation, and inefficiency.
- Facilitate Kaizen events, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation.
- Develop and deploy standard operating procedures (SOPs), visual controls, and best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to enhance process design and layout.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess improvement outcomes and sustainability.
- Train and mentor team members on continuous improvement principles and tools.
- Collaborate with leadership to align improvement initiatives with strategic business goals.
- Support new product introductions by ensuring Lean process integration.
- Support change management and sustainment of improvements across departments.
- Document and communicate progress, successes, and lessons learned.
- Lead continuous improvement projects by applying Lean principles and methodologies to eliminate waste, optimize processes, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Drive structured problem-solving activities to identify root causes, implement effective corrective actions, and improve key performance indicator (KPI) performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or operations environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other CI methodologies.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
- Proficient in data analysis and process mapping tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel, Visio).
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and project management skills.
- Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
