GENERAL DESCRIPTION:This position receives, stores and distributes product within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.RESPONSIBILITIES:-Transports product to and from designated areas in the facility-Ensure proper storage and retrieval-Consolidation of product in location-Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around the facility-Return overstock to proper locations and stock checks-Renter shipment into igus system-Stack goods in the correct locations by following inventory control instructions-Check loads are secure-Stack empty pallets-Perform daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery-Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards-Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations-Perform other duties as requested by Team Leader, Production Supervisor or ManagerPHYSICAL DEMANDS:-Manual dexterity and good eyesight are required-Frequently lift up to 50 pounds-Adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time-Having good eye-hand-foot coordination-Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights-Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon seasonREQUIREMENTS:-High school diploma or GED required-Prefer candidates with forklift operation experience-Reliable attendance record-Ability to work in a fast paced environment-Must be available and willing to work overtime and weekends as needed to satisfy customer needs-Good math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required-High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment-Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records-Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner-Maintain a clean & safe environment#INDSJ7am-3:30pm
