JOB SUMMARY:


The apparel production coordinator is responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient execution of production orders, coordinating with various stakeholders, and monitoring the production progress to meet quality standards and delivery deadlines.


DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Production planning: Review and analyze production orders. Coordinate with different departments, such as design, sourcing, and purchasing to ensure smooth production flow
  • Order tracking: Keep track of production orders by setting independent milestones
  • Quality Control: Collaborate with the warehouse on establish quality standards
  • Documentation and reporting: Maintain accurate and up to date production records. This includes techpacks, WIP reports, vendor logs, and etc.
  • Provides continuous support amongst team members

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:


  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and strong sense of accountability for maintaining quality standards
  • Problem solving mindset and the ability to handle unexpected challenges and changes in a dynamic environment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Strong knowledge of garment production processes, techniques, and quality standards
  • Familiarity with technical documents, such as techpacks, patterns, and specs
  • State law requires applicants to be 21 years of age or older

  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds or more at times
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
