Key Responsibilities- Supervise and support Medical Assistants and back-office clinical staff
- Perform and oversee patient triage (phone, portal, and in-clinic)
- Manage daily back-office staffing assignments and coverage
- Ensure timely handling of patient messages, refill requests, and clinical tasks
- Monitor clinical workflows to optimize efficiency and patient experience
- Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to MA team
- Assist with clinical protocols, quality initiatives, and compliance standards
- Partner with providers and leadership to support smooth clinic operations
- Maintain high standards of patient safety, privacy, and care quality
- Support onboarding and skills validation for new clinical staff
- Active California RN license (required)
- Minimum 3 years clinical nursing experience (OB/GYN or women’s health preferred)
- Prior supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred
- Strong triage and clinical decision-making skills
- Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient environment
- Women’s health or OB/GYN experience
- Prior experience supervising Medical Assistants
- Experience with high-volume outpatient clinics
