Required Qualifications
•Master's degree in STEM field and 12 years of related professional experience
•Active Secret clearance
•Experience with qualification and acceptance testing of hardware
•Familiarity with SMC-S-016 and environmental (vibration, thermal vacuum, thermal cycling, shock) testing of space systems
•Ability to work independently on a complex system and drive projects to completion.
•Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Desired Qualifications
•Ballistic Missile Defense System (MDS) domain experience working in the Missile Defense Agency (MDA)
•Experience with definition, design, development, verification and validation, and analysis of space hardware environmental testing (vibration, shock, thermal, modal)
•Experience with analysis, test, and systems engineering for one or more elements of the MDS (i.e. Patriot, THAAD, GMD, Sensors, or C2)
•Ability to work with a diverse team of engineers (geographically diverse) of different perspectives, skill sets and backgrounds
•Energetic, motivated, self-starting
•Strong written and verbal communication skills to document and present technical solutions.
Security Clearance Requirements:
Must have an active Secret Security Clearance
