We're working with a large financial institution who is hiring a Senior FP&A Manager. This position will own the development and ongoing refinement of financial forecasts, supporting leadership with forward-looking insights on revenue, expenses, balance sheet trends, and key performance drivers. The role partners closely with business lines, treasury, and risk to evaluate performance, identify risks, and guide strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead forecasting across income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow, including annual budgets and periodic updates
- Analyze performance versus plan and communicate key variances and drivers to leadership
- Build and enhance financial models reflecting changes in rates, market conditions, and business strategy
- Support capital and liquidity planning through scenario analysis
- Partner with risk to incorporate credit and macro assumptions into forecasts
- Contribute to executive reporting, performance scorecards, and profitability analysis
- Support data analysis, model validation, and process improvements across FP&A
- Prepare materials for senior management, auditors, and regulators as needed
- Oversee analyst work streams and support team deliverables
Qualifications:
- Banking industry experience required
- Bachelor’s in Finance or Accounting; CPA or MBA a plus
- 5–10 years of FP&A or strategic finance experience
- Familiarity with planning tools and advanced Excel modeling
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with tight deadlines
- Knowledge of banking products, pricing, and profitability analytics is highly valued
