Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Jr. Art Director based in Allentown, PA, with the flexibility of some remote work. The Jr. Art Director will collaborate with creative teams to develop and execute compelling visual concepts and campaigns. Responsibilities include assisting in art direction, creating graphic designs, enhancing branding materials, and supporting day-to-day creative processes to develop innovative marketing solutions. The individual will work closely with other team members to ensure consistency across visual designs, brand identities, and marketing strategies.
Skills Required*:
- Aptitude to develop strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Strong concept development and design skills
- The ability to interpret strategic and creative briefs to create unique ideas
- Is Comfortable ideating (Ideation for current and future clients) / developing new ideas (Brainstorming with copywriters or other Sr. Creative Positions resulting in management and delivery of visual presentations
- Mastery of design software such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After effects and XD/Figma
- The confidence to communicate your ideas and sell them to peers and clients
- The flexibility to work with client teams to meet client expectations
- The ability to manage tight deadlines and demands from multiple clients.
- An awareness of digital media and interest in evolving online platforms
- Create content in a variety of executions, from still images to GIFs to videos for use in Social Media and Digital Communications
- Working with the Creative Director and account teams to establish appropriate creative direction
- Ability to work independently, collaboratively and as a mentor to interns

Experience:
- BA/BFA degree from an accredited college in Graphic Design or university and 3-5 years’ experience in advertising, communications, and marketing
- Proven written verbal communication and presentation skills
- A track record of compelling design work
- Knowledge of graphic design best practices and principles for both print and digital projects
- Strong technical background with advanced computer skills
- Demonstrated experience and a passion for the social technology universe (i.e., Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram, blogs, wikis, RSS, social bookmarking, discussion forums and community software)
- Experience developing and launching email campaigns a plus
Our Perfect Candidate has:
- Minimum of 3-5 years in traditional advertising, ideally in CPG or other consumer driven market.
- A command of social media, content marketing and digital tools
- Demonstrated working knowledge of AI-powered creative platforms (e.g., generative image tools, AI-assisted design, or concepting tools)
- Ability to integrate AI tools into the creative process to enhance ideation, efficiency, and exploration
- More advanced or hands-on experience with AI workflows, prompt development, or tool customization is highly beneficial but not required
- A commitment to a positive team environment, including strong collaborative and leadership skills
- Ability to multi-task and handle a variety of accounts across a variety of different industries
- Active problem solver and project facilitator, with attention to detail and ability to mentor junior staff
- A desire to grow including contributing to strategic, conceptual and tactical planning
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Has energy, enthusiasm and a sense of humor

Location:
The position is based in Allentown, PA, with responsibilities covering the tri-state area. Travel to client locations for in-person meetings is required. We also offer a hybrid model, providing opportunities to work remotely from home.
