Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Bilingual 2nd Shift Working Lead to join our warehouse team! In this vital role, you will oversee daily production activities on the assembly line during the second shift, ensuring operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Your leadership will motivate team members, maintain high-quality standards, and foster a collaborative environment. Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential to effectively communicate with diverse team members and support a productive work atmosphere. This position will have mandatory over time!
Hours: 3:30pm- 12:00pm
Duties
- Lead and coordinate operations during the 2nd shift, ensuring production goals are met efficiently.
- Provide clear instructions and support to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Monitor workflow, quality standards, and safety procedures throughout the shift to maintain high operational excellence.
- Assist with mechanical troubleshooting and minor repairs using hand tools and power tools to minimize downtime.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to manage materials movement within the facility.
- Conduct regular safety checks, enforce safety protocols, and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members.
- Support training initiatives for new employees and cross-train team members on various tasks within the operations process.
Experience
- Previous factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly preferred, especially in an assembly line environment.
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a production setting is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools for assembly or maintenance tasks.
- Warehouse experience involving forklift operation or material handling is desirable.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish to facilitate effective communication across diverse teams.
