This is a hands-on, on-site role ideal for someone early in their accounting career who enjoys working with numbers, staying organized, and ensuring accuracy in a fast-paced environment.You'll work closely with our finance and operations teams to help ensure bills, payroll, and financial data are processed accurately and on time.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting SupportProcess vendor bill payments accurately and on timeSupport accounts receivable, including invoicing and payment trackingAssist with job costing and tracking costs by job or projectHelp maintain accurate general ledger recordsSupport month-end close activities, including reconciliations and schedulesMaintain organized accounting documentation and supporting recordsPayroll SupportEnter payroll data accurately and on timeTrack employee hours, payroll records, and adjustmentsMaintain payroll documentation and reportsCoordinate with HR and finance on payroll-related itemsHelp ensure payroll data is complete, accurate, and properly recordedQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting preferred13 years of experience in accounting, payroll, or a related roleStrong Excel skills (formulas, filters, basic analysis)Experience with NetSuite or another ERP/accounting system preferredHighly detail-oriented with strong organizational skillsComfortable with data entry and working with numbersAbility to meet deadlines and follow established processesSpanish preferredExperience with accounting or payroll systems is a plusBenefitsMedical and Dental CoverageAccess to Vision & Supplemental Health CoveragesFlexible Spending AccountPaid Time OffPaid Sick TimeRetirement PlanWhat We're Looking ForReliable, organized, and consistent with follow-throughComfortable working on-site with a collaborative teamAble to handle confidential information with careEager to learn and grow within an accounting and payroll functionIf you're looking to build your accounting and payroll experience with a growing company, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today to join the Statewide Roofing team.
