About the Role
The Task Force Specialist / Coordinator is a cross-property operations support role responsible for helping stabilize hotel performance during periods of operational need. This role deploys to assigned properties to support rapid problem resolution, service recovery, training follow-up, reporting, and coordination across departments. The position is highly hands-on and supports local hotel teams in restoring standards, improving communication, and completing corrective-action plans.
Job Location
Remote – Based in Washington, Oregon, or Arizona | Extensive Travel Required
This is a remote-based, highly mobile position supporting properties across multiple markets. You may reside anywhere in Washington, Oregon, or Arizona but must be available for frequent and sometimes extended travel to assigned hotel locations.
Essential Functions
Deploy to assigned properties to provide hands-on operational support based on business needs.
Support daily coordination between Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Sales, and other departments during task force assignments.
Assist with resolution of operational issues affecting guest satisfaction, room readiness, cleanliness, maintenance response, and service delivery.
Respond to guest concerns in a timely, professional, and service-focused manner and support guest recovery efforts.
Help identify service, cleanliness, safety, and process gaps and communicate corrective-action needs to property and Company leadership.
Support implementation and follow-up of operating procedures, training plans, action items, and deployment priorities.
Assist with staff coaching, skills reinforcement, and onboarding support during staffing shortages, leadership transitions, or rollout periods.
Conduct operational walkthroughs and inspections as directed.
Maintain clear, timely documentation of incidents, action items, daily activity, and deployment updates.
Help track progress on open items, audit deficiencies, supply or staffing issues, and guest-impacting concerns.
Support cross-property projects, pre-opening activities, and short-term assignments as directed.
Travel between properties and provide schedule flexibility as required by operational needs.
Perform other duties as assigned to support Ignite Hotels operations and guest experience.

Qualifications
Experience
Minimum 2 years of hotel operations experience preferred.
Experience in front office, housekeeping, guest service, night audit, sales support, maintenance coordination, or supervisory support preferred.
Experience working in fast-paced service environments with changing priorities strongly preferred.
Prior multi-department hotel exposure preferred.
Education
High school diploma or GED required.
Hospitality, business, or related coursework preferred.
Skills & Abilities
Strong guest service mindset and guest recovery skills.
Strong organization and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Professional communication skills and ability to work with multiple departments.
Good judgment and sound decision-making within assigned scope.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, email systems, and hotel PMS/reporting systems preferred.
Reliable, dependable, and able to maintain composure in fast-paced operational settings.
Strong follow-through and willingness to work hands-on alongside property teams.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required preferred.
Certifications
CPR/First Aid/AED certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
Food Handler or ServSafe certification preferred where applicable.
Brand and PMS training preferred.
Availability
Scheduling may include mornings, evenings, overnight support, weekends, holidays, and variable hours based on operational needs.
Position requires travel readiness and flexibility for short-notice assignments.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, move throughout hotel properties, inspect guestrooms and public areas, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Work Environment
This position operates in hotel environments across the Ignite Hotels portfolio and involves frequent guest interaction, changing assignment locations, travel, and fast-paced operational demands.

Task Force Lead, VP Operations, Area Operations Manager, or other designated Company leadership
