Duties
- Assist in various construction tasks including renovation, remodeling, and restoration projects.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for tasks such as carpentry, plastering, caulking, and concrete finishing.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of projects.
- Perform painting duties including residential and commercial painting, using techniques such as airless paint spraying.
- Install fixtures and perform maintenance tasks as needed on-site.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency on the job site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction or maintenance person roles preferred.
- Familiarity with construction estimating and basic math skills for measuring materials accurately.
- Knowledge of color theory and its application in painting projects is a plus.
- Experience with various materials including stucco, masonry, and drywall is beneficial.
- Ability to operate welding equipment is an advantage for certain projects.
