THE ROLE:
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Lead to spearhead our marketing strategy and execution in North America. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the software security landscape and a proven track record in developing and implementing successful marketing programs at a region-wide level. This role requires creativity, analytical thinking, and strong leadership skills to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Regional Marketing Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan for North America that aligns with global business objectives.
- Lead the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns to drive pipeline growth and support revenue targets.
- Take a hands-on approach to all aspects of marketing, ensuring both strategic direction and tactical execution are achieved.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales goals and ensure seamless integration.
Demand Generation and Pipeline Management:
- Oversee execution demand generation activities, including digital marketing, events, outbound/inbound, customer and account-based marketing (ABM).
- Work directly with sales to ensure effective lead handoff and progression through the sales funnel, focusing on driving results.
- Analyze pipeline performance and make data-driven adjustments to improve conversion rates.
Partner Marketing:
- Develop and manage partner marketing initiatives to support joint go-to-market efforts with IGEL Channel team and their key reseller partners
- Administration of IGEL Partner Marketing (MDF) program, approving MDF request and ensuring partners adhere to IGEL guidelines and requirements.
- Work closely with the Alliances Marketing manager to integrate IGEL Ready partner ecosystem programs into regional marketing plans.
Event Marketing:
- Plan and execute regional events, trade shows, webinars, and conferences.
- Manage event budgets, logistics, and follow-up activities to maximize ROI.
- Align events with strategic goals and generate high-quality leads and provide performance reporting.
Performance Tracking:
- Analyze marketing performance metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
Budget Management:
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
Team Leadership:
- Mentor and lead a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
Travel:
- Travel regionally and nationally up to 30% of the time to meet with attend tradeshows and conferences, attend work related events, etc. Some international travel may be required.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 8 years of marketing leadership experience, preferably in the software security or technology industry.
- Proven experience in digital marketing, content strategy, and lead generation.
- Strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and related customer pain points.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in marketing analytics tools and CRM software.
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand development.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
