Job Overview
We are seeking a part-time, detail-oriented Order Processing Associate to process our customer orders and assist with customer data hygiene.
The Order Processing Associate is responsible for accurately entering customer orders into the order entry system(s) in a timely manner. The Order Processing Associate will process and, if needed, research orders with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. Other duties include resolving order discrepancies and maintaining customer master data in the system(s). The Order Processing Associate will also assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
The ideal candidate should have excellent data entry skills, a customer service mindset, attention to detail, excellent research and problem-solving skills, and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and book orders flowing through the Order to Cash systems
- Assist with troubleshooting order issues in the Order to Cash systems
- Enter customer orders into database accurately and promptly
- Verify order details for accuracy and completeness
- Provide order confirmations to customers as needed
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and customers to resolve order discrepancies in a timely manner
- Maintain detailed and organized records of orders and customer install base
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure order fulfillment
- Assist with customer and prospect data entry and hygiene
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
- Perform other administrative tasks as required
Qualifications
- 2 – 4 years of proven work experience as an Order Processing Associate, Data Entry Clerk, or similar role
- Proficient research and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
- Experience using an order management and SalesForce.com application
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
Compensation:
This position is part-time. The salary for this position typically ranges from $22 - $30/hour. This range is intended to reflect prevailing salaries in different geographic locations across the United States as well as the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
