Accounting Analyst

Position Description

ifm prover, USA inc. is seeking an Accounting Analyst to add to its growing financial team.  The Accounting Analyst is a multi-faceted position with potential for advancement.  As the Accounting Analyst, you will work closely with the Manager of Finance and Controlling and with members of ifm’s local and global finance teams.

Responsibilities include:

·        Manage the cash requesting and posting process

·        Analyze and reconcile General Ledger accounts

·        Manage fixed assets and reconcile construction in process

·        Completion of the monthly financial close process

·        Preparation of monthly financial reporting

·        Participation in the company’s annual external audit process

·        Support the Finance Manager with any other ad hoc reporting or analysis

·        Provide Account Payable support on occasion (posting invoices)

Requirements:

·        BS degree in Accounting required

·        Fixed asset accounting experience is required

·        2-4 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with a track record of progressively increasing responsibility preferred

·        Must be self-driven, creative, and willing to build new skills and grow with the position

·        Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, and ERP system experience (SAP preferred)

·        Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
