Job Summary: As a Parking Lot Attendant, you will be responsible for managing the parking lot, assisting customers with parking, and ensuring a safe and orderly environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers as they enter and exit the parking lot.
- Direct vehicles to available parking spaces and manage the flow of traffic within the lot.
- Monitor the parking area to ensure the safety and security of vehicles and customers.
- Provide information and directions to customers as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the parking lot, including picking up litter and reporting any hazards.
- Operate payment systems, issue parking tickets.
- Handle cash transactions as required and end of shift transaction handoff with manager.
- Report any issues or incidents to the supervisor promptly.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
