Job Title: Data Engineer (Databricks, Spark, Python)

Location: NYC (Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite / Week)

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Databricks, SQL, and Python to support enterprise-scale data engineering initiatives for Disney

The ideal candidate should have solid experience building scalable data pipelines, working with large datasets, and supporting cloud-based data platforms.

Required Skills

·         At least 6 to 8 years of overall IT experience in Data Engineering

·         Strong hands-on experience with Databricks

·         Expertise in PySpark

·         Strong programming skills in Python

·         Strong Experience in of SQL and relational databases

·         Experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured data

·         Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS

·         Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Responsibilities

·         Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines

·         Build and maintain Databricks-based data solutions

·         Develop Spark/PySpark jobs for large-scale data processing

·         Ensure data quality, performance optimization, and production support
