We are hiring for an Assembly Associate to support the team responsible for assembling Fix Kits and other internally assembled products. This role plays a key part in ensuring products are accurately assembled, inspected, packaged, and stocked to maintain inventory levels for our customers.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and help maintain iFixit’s high standards for quality, efficiency, and presentation across all assembled products.

Job Responsibilities
- Assemble, inspect, package, label, and stock Fix Kits and other products according to company standards
- Follow established workflows and production priorities to help maintain adequate inventory levels
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and flag any product discrepancies or issues
- Follow proper safety procedures, especially when handling batteries or regulated materials
- Support inventory processes by identifying received shipments and matching them to purchase orders
- Assist with tracking products on open purchase orders and expected arrival timelines
- Collaborate with Shipping, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth product flow
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Provide feedback on materials or processes to help improve overall efficiency and quality
- Previous experience in assembly, production, warehouse, or inventory operations preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow processes and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday
- Basic computer skills; experience with inventory systems is a plus
- Experience with RF scanners or shipping processes is beneficial
