As a premier fuel and hydraulic tank producer, The IFH Group, Inc. is a growing company and destination employer for professionals and skilled experts. The Light Truck Driver I position is 100% on-site in Rock Falls, Illinois, and may begin with a part-time or full-time schedule, but requires full-time in the next several months. The work schedule requires availability during core business hours, Monday through Thursday, 5:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. With full-time employment, employees are eligible for insurance benefits on the 1st day of the month following date of hire. Part-time employment may also include insurance benefits contingent upon consistently working at least 30 hours per week.
Light Truck Driver I performs routine logistics and material handling duties, including loading and unloading tanks, and driving a light truck to transport tanks between local facilities. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this role requires CDL (class A or B) with air brake endorsement and working knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.

Physical Demands: Constant sitting and driving with repetitious hand and finger movements and foot or leg controls to use and operate light truck and powered industrial truck; constant moving/traversing with repetitious hand and finger movements to use and operate equipment and tools; infrequent sitting with repetitious hand and finger movements to use and operate office machinery; detect, perceive, identify, observe, inspect, and assess DOT, safety, and driving standards of light truck and load; express and exchange information in-person and via phone, text, and email. Frequent moving/traversing and positioning self in/out of light truck, to reach overhead and at or below the shoulder; move and position objects up to 50 lbs. Frequent ascending/descending stairs with moving/traversing throughout building.
Work Environment: Constantly works in manufacturing setting on the shop floor with exposure to fluctuating temperatures and noise levels at or above 100 decibels on average. Working on the shop floor requires safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety footwear with metatarsal guard.
Qualifications:Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Valid CDL, Class A or B, with air brake endorsement required.
- Clean driving record without any major traffic violations for insurability required.
- One (1) year previous light or heavy truck operator experience required.
- Previous work experience with logistics, material handling, or similar duties required

- Ability and knowledge to use and apply moderate understanding of DOT regulatory requirements and rules of the road while operating a light truck.

- Knowledge and ability to apply basic computer skills.
- Ability to maintain valid Commercial Driver License (CDL), Class A or B with air brake endorsement.
- Ability to pass DOT physical and maintain medical standards.
- Ability to maintain clean driving record with no major violations or disqualifying convictions for insurability.
- Ability and skill to fluently speak, read, write, and understand English.
