The Senior Accountant will ensure the company’s financial transactions are accumulated, classified, and recorded in accordance with U.S. GAAP and all applicable regulatory requirements.
This position supports a broad range of accounting functions, including:
- General ledger and monthly close
- Accounts payable
- Revenue and related commercial expenses, including commissions and royalties
- Accounts receivable
- Inventory and costing
- Payroll and benefits
- Long-lived assets, including leases, fixed assets, and intangibles

- Financial analysis
- Tax matters and compliance
- Management and financial reporting
The Senior Accountant will collaborate with financial planning and analysis, accounting operations, and other business partners on accounting, financial reporting, compliance, audit, and tax matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the timely production of accurate and reliable monthly divisional financial statements to satisfy internal and external reporting requirements across various accounting functions.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
- Perform financial close activities, including month-end journal entries and accruals, supporting schedules, account reconciliations, disclosures, and internal controls.
- Perform financial reporting and compilation for operational and commercial matters, including commissions, royalties, vendors, and government authorities.
- Participate in tax-related activities, including compilation, filing, payments, monitoring regulatory requirements and changes, supporting audits, and evaluating the tax implications of business-process changes.
- Work with external financial, debt, tax, and operational auditors to provide required documentation and analysis.
- Execute business-unit cash-flow and liquidity transactions, initiatives, and reporting to ensure sufficient liquidity and compliance with corporate objectives.
- Support the finance team during periodic and annual operating and capital budget processes.
- Participate in process documentation, cross-training, benchmarking, and key-metric reporting.
- Identify, direct, and lead finance and process improvements involving close and reporting, ERP implementations and enhancements, technology and automation, data analytics, and master-data governance and maintenance.
- Develop business partnerships with warehousing and distribution, commercial and customer-experience teams, invoice-to-cash functions—including credit, invoicing, cash application, and collections—and enabling functions such as IT, HR, and Procurement.
- Complete ad hoc requests and special projects from senior management, including acquisition integrations, strategic initiatives, and funding or capital matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required.
- At least four years of corporate accounting experience.
- A minimum of two years of public-accounting experience and CPA designation are preferred.
- Experience performing accounting for an enterprise with more than $250 million in annual revenue.
- ERP experience required; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP Business One, Oracle, or JD Edwards is highly desirable.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications.

Salary : $95,000 - $110,000
