Title: Motion Designer
Location: Redmond, WA 3 days onsite

About the Role
We are seeking a talented Motion Designer with a passion for visual storytelling, motion graphics, and video production. In this role, you will create engaging motion graphics, animations, and polished video content that enhances customer-facing experiences across marketing, product, and digital platforms.
The ideal candidate has a strong creative eye, excellent motion design skills, and hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Cloud tools. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform product concepts into compelling visual stories while ensuring every deliverable meets high creative and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
Motion Design & Video Production
- Design and produce high-quality motion graphics, animations, and video content for customer-facing, marketing, and social media experiences.
- Transform product concepts and creative briefs into engaging visual stories.
- Edit and enhance video content to improve pacing, storytelling, and overall visual quality.
- Develop compelling animations that effectively communicate product features and customer value.
Video Editing & Post-Production
- Edit raw footage, product demonstrations, screen recordings, and animation assets into polished videos.
- Apply motion effects, transitions, typography, color correction, audio synchronization, and visual enhancements.
- Deliver optimized video content across multiple platforms and formats, including digital marketing, presentations, and social media.
- Ensure all final assets meet brand guidelines and quality standards.
Design Quality & Creative Execution
- Apply strong design principles including typography, composition, motion, timing, hierarchy, and visual storytelling.
- Maintain consistency with established brand standards across all creative assets.
- Recommend creative improvements that enhance customer engagement and product understanding.
- Balance creative excellence with project deadlines and business objectives.
Production Management
- Organize project assets using structured file naming conventions and version control.
- Manage production schedules, milestones, revisions, approvals, and final deliverables.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate project status, risks, and dependencies.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time with exceptional quality.
Collaboration
- Partner with product managers, designers, marketers, and business stakeholders to understand project goals and creative requirements.
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback into final creative deliverables.
- Present design concepts and revised assets during project reviews.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining high attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Motion Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Film/Video Production, Digital Media, Studio Art, Fine Art, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of professional experience in Motion Design, Video Editing, or Digital Content Production.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and/or Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating motion graphics, animation, video editing, and visual storytelling.
- Experience creating customer-facing, marketing, social media, or product-related video content.
- Strong understanding of motion design principles, typography, composition, pacing, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience managing production workflows, including asset organization, version control, file management, and production timelines.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while consistently delivering high-quality work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating motion content for technology, SaaS, enterprise software, or productivity products.
- Familiarity with PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Knowledge of accessibility best practices for video content, including captions, readable typography, and color contrast.
- Experience working within structured creative production environments with formal review and approval processes.
