Where You’ll Make a Difference
- Evaluate products using specified sensory methods and determine acceptability
- Manage, prepare, and administer structured customer-specific sensory programs
- Communicate results and collaborate with the Creative team
- Recommend process improvements and lead research efforts supporting Quality and Creative groups
- Maintain retain and Gold Standard libraries
- Conduct sensory evaluation of raw materials and intermediate/finished flavors
- Perform analytical testing as needed
- Communicate with customers regarding shelf life and re-certifications
- Provide technical assistance internally and externally
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, or related field
- 2–3 years of experience in the food industry
- Knowledge and experience in Sensory Science
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Basic math and science knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- 3–5 years of experience in the food industry
- 1–3 years in a sensory evaluation role
- Experience with SAP
- Strong sensory skills with prior experience evaluating raw materials and finished products
