Where You’ll Make a Difference
- Produce dry powder food ingredient blends for IFF customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Read and interpret computer-generated batch reports and follow packaging specifications accurately.
- Verify batch weights and quantities through precise mathematical calculations.
- Operate forklifts safely and comply with all safety procedures.
- Lift packages up to 25 kg safely and consistently throughout the shift.
- Stage batch ingredients and packaging materials in an organized manner.
- Maintain accurate documentation for raw materials, finished products, and rework on batch reports.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and report any violations to management.
- Adhere to all quality systems, including ISO 14001 and Food Safety standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Strong mathematical skills for weight verification and calculations.
- Knowledge of IFF’s equipment and ability to learn new processes.
- Previous experience in a food plant environment is helpful.
- Forklift experience and license required (training provided during onboarding).
- Ability to work independently and comply with safety and sanitation standards.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 kg and work in a plant environment.
- Prior experience in food manufacturing or blending operations.
- Familiarity with HACCP principles and quality systems.
- Strong organizational and communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
