Where You’ll Make a Difference
- Support data‑focused project work across research, operations, or digital innovation teams.
- Assist with data collection, cleaning, structuring, and documentation from multiple sources (e.g., databases, spreadsheets, and system outputs).
- Under supervision, curate data, build models, create-reports, dashboards, or simple applications to support analysis and decision‑making.
- Help document, improve, or automate business and technical processes.
- Develop an understanding of internal IFF probiotic R&D projects.
- Participate in role‑specific training and development sessions.
- Collaborate with experienced research associates and scientists.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and good laboratory notebook practices.
- Currently enrolled as a full‑time student at an accredited university or college.
- Sophomore or above in a bachelor’s program, or first‑year student in a master’s program.
- Pursuing a degree in Statistics, Data Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Microbiology or a related technical field.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred or demonstrated projects.
- Ability to work according to the co‑op schedule structure:
- A minimum of 16 hours/week but up to Full‑time (40 hours/week) during the summer, and
- A minimum of 16 hours/week during the academic term, following a set schedule.
- Eligible to work in the United States in accordance with applicable employment authorization requirements, including student visa programs.
- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership experience (e.g., community service).
- Prior experience with statistical analysis, data analysis, data engineering, process improvement, or technical project work (academic, co‑op, internship, or personal projects).
- Strong ability to independently coordinate and prioritize work.
- Full‑time opportunity during summer months.
