Essential Job Functions
- Transport visually impaired/blind employees to work using the company van.
- Make bank deposits, pick up mail and run errands using the company van.
- Clean all offices, hallways and meeting rooms, including vacuuming, dusting and emptying trash.
- Clean and mop restrooms and assure they are stocked with soap, toilet paper and paper towels.
- Clean, mop and maintain production floor aisles, stripping, waxing and buffing as directed.
- Clean, mop and maintain cleanliness in the cafeteria.
- Assist other personnel as time and knowledge permit.
- Participate in training and meetings as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, stoop and walk over a 10-hour period.
- Must wear personal protective equipment, such as clothing and gloves as necessary depending on the task being performed.
- Must be able to work planned and unplanned overtime.
- Must be able to work professionally as part of a team with other department employees.
- Must be able to comprehend and perform duties using established work and safety procedures.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and eligible to be covered by the company’s insurance.
- Must be able to read instruction label on cleaning supplies.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred.
