Essential Job Functions
- Perform an equipment safety check at the beginning of each shift, notifying supervisor of any concerns.
- Feed machine using provided resources.
- Monitor machine for proper operation, notifying supervisor of any problems/concerns regarding item being processed and/or any problems with the machine.
- Assist other department personnel as time and knowledge permit.
- Participate in training and meetings as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Must be able to stand or sit (depending on machinery being used) over an extended period of time.
- Must be able to stoop and bend over an extended period of time.
- Must be able to work professionally as a part of a team with other department employees.
- Must be able to comprehend and perform duties using established work and safety procedures.
- On the job training is provided.
