Metrology and Inspection Specialist – CNC, CMM, and Welding

Make quality your mission

Picture this: You start your shift reviewing a first-article on a welded assembly. Next, you move to a stamping line chasing a wrinkle concern, then to the coating cell to validate dry film thickness. Before lunch, you’ve run a CMM routine to confirm a critical datum, logged SPC, and briefed an operator on a reaction plan. If that rhythm excites you, IFAB Corp is ready for you.

Impact areas

End-to-end inspection

  • Stamping/Forming/Laser: Inspect for splits, cracks, wrinkles, excessive burrs, die marks, distortion, springback, edge quality, flatness, bend angles, and dimensional variation.
  • Welding: Assess weld size, location, profile, porosity, undercut, spatter, burn-through, cracks, distortion, fit-up, and workmanship.
  • Machining: Verify dimensions, hole size, thread quality, surface finish, and CTQ attributes.
  • Finishing (E‑Coat/Powder): Measure coverage and DFT, check adhesion/cure, color/gloss, contamination, orange peel, craters, chips, bare spots, and runs using thickness gauges and visual standards.
  • CMM: Operate the CMM and run approved programs as needed.
