Summary
The role of the Warehouse/Material handler & Delivery Driver is to add in receiving, warehousing and distribution operations along with tool equipment and building upkeep. To deliver materials and equipment to sites and other facilities needed.
Primary Responsibilities
- Taking delivery of goods and supplies
- Checking for damaged or missing items upon receipt of material
- Storing/Manage all equipment, tools and material
- Move stock around by hand or using lift gear
- Create and track packing lists for deliveries
- Scanning and filing of all material and equipment documents
- Planning and staging material, tools and equipment for deliveries
- Inventory of warehouse items to include tools, equipment, attic stock material and job specific material
- Track equipment disbursement/returns
- Keep up to date reports of all equipment calibrations and service records
- Overall upkeep and cleanliness of warehouse and equipment
- Deliver material and equipment to the job site
- Unload and help carry material into job site
- Clean off job sites as needed of equipment and extra materials
- Maintain cleanliness of company delivery vehicle
- Perform other duties as required
- IET Corp office maintenance- inside/outside upkeep of company grounds
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Understanding of part numbers and manufacturers
- Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask
- Lifting of up to 75lbs
- Flexible during times of change
- The ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
- DOT Certificate
Working Conditions
- Hot and cold conditions
- Standing and lifting for long periods of time
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other devices and objects
- Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings
- Some travel may be needed for deliveries.
