HVAC Duct Cleaner

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Duct Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining residential and/or commercial HVAC duct systems. This role requires physical stamina, professionalism, and a strong commitment to customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean HVAC duct systems, vents, registers, dryer vents, and related equipment using specialized tools
• Inspect ductwork for dust, debris, mold, and other contaminants
• Safely operate vacuums, brushes, blowers, and other duct-cleaning equipment
• Set up and break down equipment at job sites
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers about services performed
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times
• Document work performed, including before-and-after photos
• Assist with minor HVAC-related tasks as needed (based on company policy and training)
• Perform other duties as assigned
  
  
  

Qualifications

Specific Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in duct cleaning, HVAC, or related trades is a plus but not required; training available
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in tight or confined spaces including attics and crawl spaces
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to successfully pass a clean background screening
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
  
  

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Work performed in residential and commercial indoor and outdoor environments
• Regular exposure to dust, debris, insulation, and varying temperatures
• Frequent use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, respirators, and safety goggles
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periods
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment weighing 50 pounds or more
• Must be comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, ceilings, and other restricted-access areas
• Frequent travel to customer job sites throughout the workday
• Fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail, safety awareness, and adaptability
  
  
  

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time position
• Typical schedule is Monday-Friday with occasional weekends as needed
• Pay: $16-$20/hour, based on experience
