Safety Coordinator

IES Residential is looking for an experienced Safety Coordinator for our West Coast operations. The candidate should have good understanding of current OSHA safety polices, strong communications skills, and the ability to work in a team setting to further a safety culture within IES Residential.

 

Location:

• Home Base: Las Vegas, NV
• Travel locations
  • Salt Lake City, UT
  • Denver, CO
  • Phoenix, AZ

Responsibilities:

• Conduct site safety inspections on jobsites
• Work with IESR management to promote a safety culture
• Conduct safety training
• Lead safety meetings
• Investigate all work place injuries and vehicle accidents
• Be involved with OSHA site inspections
• Communicate policy and procedures to management and field employees

Minimum Years of Experience

Specific Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the safety field
• First Aid CPR Instructor is a plus
• Proficient with Microsoft
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is mandatory
• Strong public speaking skills
• OSHA 500 Required

Prefer:

• Experience in the construction industry.

• Strong communication skills

Travel:

• Travel 50%-75% of the time
