Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Residential HVAC Production Manager to oversee and manage our residential HVAC field operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC Residential New Construction (RNC) Installation, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record of achieving production goals while ensuring quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of residential HVAC production operations, including installation, warehouse, field technicians, testing, and forecasting, to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
- Develop and implement production schedules, considering capacity, resources, and customer demands, to meet production targets and delivery deadlines.
- Monitor production processes and quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Lead and supervise a team of production staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to maximize productivity and ensure a safe working environment.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and practices to minimize workplace hazards and maintain a high level of employee safety awareness.
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, coordinating with the purchasing team to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to residential HVAC installation, and propose relevant improvements or modifications to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Manage scheduling, installation, punch, and inspection processes for all phases of construction.
- Plan and coordinate equipment commissioning and warranty repairs.
- Collaborate with the Division Manager to address builder relations and subcontractor concerns.
- Ensure job quality and compliance with applicable codes through all stages.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of codes and ordinances for assigned municipalities.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with builders, other trades, and inspection authorities.
- Prepare and submit accurate material take-off worksheets for project stages.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.

- 4-6 years' experience
- Proven working experience in Residential New Construction production
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Interest in market dynamics along with business sense
- Working understanding of Manual J, D, S and redline principles
- Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures
- Solid judgement along with decision making and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
- Licenses & Certifications:
- Tradesman License (required)
- EPA Certification (preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License
Other Requirements
- Ability to pass safety training, background checks, and drug testing.
- Physically able to bend, crouch, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, and work on ladders/scaffolds.
- Forklift certification a plus
