IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, seeking full-time QA/QC Coordinator in Auburn, Alabama.
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or work authorization support. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.
Job Summary
- Assists in development of Quality Assurance standards and continuous improvement evaluations and revisions
- Identifies non-conformances and issues corrective/preventive action reports
- Monitors corrective actions and verifies closure of quality issues
- Maintains accruate QA/QC documentation and records
- Reports quality performance metrics to management
- Coordinates inspections, tests, and audits at various project stages
- Ensures compliance with project specifications, company standards, and applicable codes/regulations
- Performs onsite inspections of equipment and installations
- Proactively works with Project Team to ensure all installations are installed correctly the first time
- Performs work onsite with the Project Team in performing all inspections and reports
- Ensures compliance with all company and customer Safety policies and procedures.
- 2-5 year's recent electrical (industrial or commercial) construction experience.
- HS Diploma/GED.
- Understanding of electrical construction standards, equipment, and installations.
- Data Center experience is preferred.
- Electrical Field experience preferred.
- Through knowledge of construction disciplines.
- Proficient knowledge of computer programs (EXCEL/WORD).
- Strong communication (written/verbal), problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and attention to detail skills.
- Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
