Job Title: Field Service Technician Shift: 1st Department: Field Service Reports To: General Manager Classification: Non-Exempt Duties & Responsibilities Provide customer service and support during field visits Build and maintain positive relationships with customers Interface with the Engineering Dept. to diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions Understand customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations and briefings Produce timely and detailed service reports Comprehend installation and maintenance manual Understand shipping bills of materials packing and marking methods Complete purchase requisitions and submit internal requisitions Provide quotes to customers for replacement parts Minimum Education None Specific Qualifications Required Skills & Abilities Troubleshoot, test, measure, and repair equipment on site Ability to read blueprints and CAD drawings Education & Experience Five years' experience in a production environment preferred Personal Protection Equipment Training (PPE), Lock Out-Tag Out Onsite training available Forklift and Overhead Crane Certification Onsite training available Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25lbs.
