We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Analyst to join our finance team. This role will support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and data analysis to help drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for financial planning.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business objectives.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management review.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting by compiling and analyzing financial results.
Work with different departments to gather financial data and improve forecasting accuracy.
Assist in variance analysis by comparing actual results to budgets and forecasts, providing insights into financial performance.
Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reports to support business decisions.
Maintain and update financial models to support business planning and scenario analysis.
Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) to present financial insights clearly.
Assist in process improvements and automation initiatives within the FP&A function.
Assist in preparing presentations for management.
Specific Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
0-2 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related role (internships or relevant coursework a plus).
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
Experience with financial planning software, ERP systems, or business intelligence tools (Power BI) is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
Understanding of financial statements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Eagerness to learn and develop a career in financial planning and analysis.
